The main part of the dreidel is astonishing piece of roman glass fragment, this piece of Roman Glass is approximately 2000 years old, the colorful layer that covers the glass called PATINA caused by a chemical reaction as a result of spending many years buried underground. This variation of colors make each piece of glass unique.
Included with the jewelry will be a certificate of authenticity stating the following: "This certifies that this piece of hand made jewelry is set with authentic 2,000 year old Roman Glass manufactured by the ancient Romans in 2 BCE. The glass was found in archeological diggings throughout the Holy Land. It is authentic and is certified as a genuine antique."
The dreidel stands on a small basis made from semi filigree ring.
The Hebrew letters (Nun, Gimel, Hey and Pey) are soldered around the delicate filigree framework which stands for the Hebrew phrase "NES GADOL HAYA PO" which means
"A great miracle happened here" referring to the miracle occurring in the land of Israel,The dreidel is a traditional toy which Jewish children play in Hanukkah.
